Junior Awards

The USTA Texas Awards honor junior players throughout the state for their tennis prowess, as well as their sportsmanship on and off the court.

John McFarlin Award

Established by John R. McFarlin of San Antonio in 1965, this award is presented to an outstanding junior boy in Texas for exceptional performance, a willingness to work with up-and-coming players, cooperation and proper respect, and a sportsmanlike and competitive spirit.

Mary Lowdon Award

Created by the Maureen Connolly Brinker Foundation in 1972, this award honors an outstanding junior girl in Texas for exceptional performance, a willingness to work with up-and-coming players, cooperation and proper respect, and a sportsmanlike and competitive spirit.

Maureen Connolly Brinker Sportsmanship Award
